Gibson McKean: Have found that Gibson's father was Jesse McKean.
His father was James McKean born 8 Jun 1738, died 17 Apr. 1808 he was born
in Londonderry, N.H. and married his neice Jemima McKean born 8 Sep 1755
died 8 May 1816 in Shohola, Pa.(This may have been a second marriage).
They lived in Warrick, Orange Co. N.Y. until around 1789 or 90 when they
moved to Milford, Pa. They lived there until a flood wiped out their homestead.
They then moved to Shihola, Pa. where they settled into what is now McKean

the signer of the Declaration of Independence by some but I have not been
able to obtain any information to that fact. Would appreciate any help
