	Notes for Evelyn Lenore Stevenson: General Notes: Recorded by James Donald Stevenson, youngest brother of Evelyn: Evelyn was a top-notch secretary before she quit to have children. She could type over 100 words per minute, and that was before electric typewriters. She was the hub of the family in California and their home at 1595 W. Ninth in Pomona was the scene for many very happy family get togethers. One of the features of these happy times was the homemade ice cream, made in a hand cranked freezer on the patio underneath the big English walnut tree. She had the respect and love of all who knew her. She was our son James Jr.'s surrogate mother when he was attending Whittier College and we were far away in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She died of pancreatic cancer in Feb. 1968. She learned of this cancer in mid 1967 but was determined to live thru Christmas so she could share it with her 2 new grand-daughters, Jodi Hull and Vicki Littell. JDS 9-20-1990

	Notes for Thomas George Sullivan: General Notes: Notes with birth and death dates from obit of Thomas George Sullivan. Obit of son Thomas Sullivan mentions a step-mother, but gives no name, hence Richard must have remarried. Step-mother was alive in 1982 in Mu------, Michigan. (Name of city in Michigan was unreadable.) Thomas was educated in Quincy IL schools, and became assistant manager at Sullivan Chevrolet, later Pontiac. He then became sales manager at the Jefferson-Johnson agency. Later, with his brother Richard, he established a Studebaker agency in Overland Missouri. He rturned to Quincy as sales manager of the Dave McCormick Pontiac Agency. While in Quincy, he was a member of the Quincy Country Club and the Elks Club. In 1968 the Sullivans moved to San Diego where he was affiliated with LaJolla Trust and Savings Bank in La Jolla.
